Girls who play in the mud.

Ruth has loved playing in the mud since she began making mud pies at age 2.  She has had periodic access to clay and kilns over the years, but really got into making things when she was able to take classes using her senior discount.  Eventually, she fell into the position of ceramic arts director at the local senior center.  She quickly learned how to fire the kiln, and had a great time establishing the ceramics program there. Making clay items is now one of her retirement hobbies. She mostly makes decorative pots and yard decor (gnomes, fairy doors, and mushrooms) or whatever else grabs her interest.

Ruth is not offering any classes at the moment, but may do so in the future.
