The rump roast is a boneless roast and is quite lean. The best way to cook a rump roast is to cook on high for the first 20 minutes then turn your oven down and slow cook. Make sure there is liquid in your pan so that your roast does not dry out. This is a great roast to thinly slice your leftovers for sandwiches.
